Buy with Caution!

The next time you go to Hong Kong for a shopping spree, make sure you know what you buy. There has been a lot of complaints from Chinese buyers that they have been cheated by retailers especially making false and misleading representation. Other tighter regulations are also in the works, like putting up the price tag and a detailed description of the accessories that come with the price tag. By the way, the "saman" fine is pretty high if found guilty, HKD 500,000 and imprisonment for 5 years.

So, better put up the price tag or else "chor kam" go to prison.
