Lift roof panel and lightings

As far as I can remember, the lift roof panels at Block A are always in a bad state. Why can't the maintenance section replace the panel and lightings to make it more presentable? While at it, please check the other lifts too.

  1. Thanks for bringing out this issue.
Also, resident should not press both button of the lift, if they are to go up/down.
This will bring convenience and save electricity to all.

  2. Yes, one of the floor button is stuck at number 7. I hope it can be rectified easily. Agree 100% about saving electricity. By the way, pass the word that on the 28 March 2009, it is Earth Hour, cities around the world is switching their lights off from 8:30pm to 9:30pm.

  3. We have sourced for the diffuser sheet. The broken is sitting in the mgt office many many moons ago. Pensaga simply did not do their work. Replacement from Lift Service Contractor Cost Rm120.00 each. We have another quote of RM17 for a std piece used for 4' flo tube. So we must find some one to cut to our lift's lamp casing size. Furthermore, our worker cannot carry it using bike, dangerous and unlawful. I have to go down town to purchase it and send to glass merchant to cut it. Hopefully, next week. At my own cost and pay from my pocket first!

  5. Luckily, PG changed from Pensaga to GE Tan and we sincerely hope that GE Tan can do a better job. I just do not understand what everyone is doing, especially the maintenance section. It is so obvious that it requires rectification because we use the lift everyday. Do we need to complain every time to get things done around here in Pearl Garden?

From what I noticed from the feedbacks in this blog, only LT aka Yeoh is the only one running around and getting things fixed.

I hope that the other members of the committee can also contribute the same and NOT dump everything to LT...
